Orthopedic and Trauma Physiotherapy
Relieve and Restore Mobility
Physiotherapy plays a key role in orthopaedics and traumatology, particularly in cases where surgery can be avoided.
Its impact is particularly significant in pre- and post-operative care.
Before surgery, it helps to strenghten the muscles and improve mobility, thus reducing the risk of complications and facilitating faster rehabilitation.
Post-operative, it is essential for:
• Restore joint function,
• Improve circulation,
• Reduce edema,
• Mobilize the scar to reduce adhesions,
• Implement a specific exercise program to reduce muscle tension and strengthen muscles.

Physiotherapy for TMJ Dysfunction
Relief and mobility
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, such as bruxism (tooth clenching), can lead to facial and mandibular pain, headaches, chewing difficulties and muscle tension. These dysfunctions can also affect the neck and shoulders.
As physiotherapists, we use manual techniques, strengthening and relaxation exercises, and ergonomic advice to treat these symptoms. Our aim is to:
• Reduce pain in the temporomandibular joint,
• Relieve head and neck pain, whistling and muscle pressure,
• Improve jaw mobility,
• Restore optimal function,
• Prevent wear and tear on the joint and teeth.
By rehabilitating the TMJ, we enable our patients to return to pain-free chewing and avoid long-term complications such as temporomandibular joint disorders.

Respiratory and Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy
Breathing improvement
Chronic respiratory conditions, such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, or post-COVID complications, can limit lung capacity, lead to frequent episodes of shortness of breath, and decrease exercise capacity. After thoracic surgery, these symptoms may be exacerbated, making breathing difficult and affecting recovery.
In respiratory physiotherapy, we use techniques such as breathing retraining, respiratory muscle strengthening exercises and breathlessness management to improve lung function.
We offer respiratory treatments focused on:
• Improving lung capacity,
• Improved exercise tolerance,
• Management of shortness of breath,
• Rehabilitation after thoracic surgery.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle but highly effective therapeutic technique for treating edema, fluid retention and inflammatory conditions. People suffering from lymphedema, post-surgery or inflammatory conditions particularly benefit from this approach, which helps:
• to stimulate lymphatic circulation,
• to reduce swelling,
• to improve venous return,
• to alleviate pain associated with inflammation
• to accelerate post-operative recovery
By practicing lymphatic drainage, we contribute to faster healing and overall well-being of our patients, by reducing edema.
